Step-by-step instructions to install your eSIM on any compatible device. The entire process takes less than 2 minutes.
Check our compatible devices list to make sure your phone supports eSIM.
You need an internet connection to download the eSIM profile onto your device.
Open the email from NexaEsim containing your eSIM QR code on another device or print it out.
Your device must be unlocked (not restricted to a single carrier) to use an eSIM from NexaEsim.
Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data).
Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan. On iOS 17+, you may also see Add eSIM directly.
Select Use QR Code and point your camera at the QR code from your email. The eSIM profile will download automatically.
Give it a label like "Travel" or "NexaEsim" so you can easily identify it later.
Your eSIM is now installed. When you arrive at your destination, turn on Data Roaming for this plan and select it as your primary data line.
Go to Settings → Connections → SIM Manager (Samsung) or Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (Pixel).
Tap Add eSIM or Add mobile plan → Scan carrier QR code.
Point your camera at the QR code from your email. Wait for the profile to download and install.
Once installed, you'll see the eSIM listed. Enable it and set it as the Mobile Data line when you're ready to use it.
You can install the eSIM at home over Wi-Fi. It won't start counting data until you activate it at your destination.
Your eSIM works alongside your primary SIM. Use your main number for calls/SMS and the eSIM for data abroad.
Each QR code can only be scanned once. If you remove the eSIM from your device, you'll need a new code.
