Public requests are rate-limited per IP address. The service allows up to 60 MCP requests per minute and 12 new carts per IP address per hour. Reuse an existing cart instead of creating a cart for every search.

## MCP tools

### search_countries

Find supported destinations by English country name, ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code, or ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 code.

Inputs:
- query: English country name, ISO2, or ISO3
- limit: optional result limit

Examples: China, CN, CHN, Taiwan, TW, TWN.

### search_esim

Search active, purchasable eSIM packages for a destination.

Inputs:
- country: English country name, ISO2, or ISO3
- duration_days: optional
- data_gb: optional minimum total data in GB; use -1 for unlimited plans
- page: optional
- page_size: optional

Results contain English package information, coverage, carriers, network technology, and NexaEsim retail prices in USD. Prices are customer retail prices and are not partner or wholesale prices.

### create_cart

Create a server-side USD shopping cart for the AI-assisted retail purchase.

Optional input:
- customer_email

### add_to_cart

Add a package returned by search_esim to the cart. The server always recalculates the current retail price; agents cannot submit or override a price.

Inputs:
- cart_id
- package_id
- quantity

### get_cart

Retrieve the authoritative cart contents and current retail total before checkout.

Input:
- cart_id

### set_cart_item_quantity

Update a selected package quantity from 1 to 10, or use 0 to remove the package.

Inputs:
- cart_id
- package_id
- quantity

### generate_checkout_url

Generate a short-lived NexaEsim checkout URL. Automated link previews do not consume it; the link is finalized when the customer submits an order.

Input:
- cart_id

The customer must open this URL and complete payment on NexaEsim. AI agents must never request, collect, store, or transmit card numbers, CVV codes, bank credentials, Apple Pay credentials, Google Pay credentials, or other payment secrets.

## Recommended agent flow

1. Call initialize.
2. Call tools/list.
3. Resolve the destination with search_countries.
4. Find suitable plans with search_esim.
5. Clearly show package details, validity, data allowance, coverage, network, and the total retail price in USD.
6. Obtain the customer's explicit selection.
7. Create a cart and add the selected package.
8. Call get_cart and show the authoritative total for final confirmation.
9. Generate the checkout URL.
10. Send the customer to NexaEsim checkout to review the final amount and pay securely.

Do not claim an order is paid or fulfilled until NexaEsim confirms payment and fulfillment.
